I never really made up my mind as to how I felt about the prospect of Harriet Miers on the Supreme Court.
It's a moot point now.
But I just discovered that (not surprisingly) the Wikipedia site contains a rather thorough overview of Harriet Miers' life and career, along with links to more info.

It will be interesting to see if the next nominee will be so scary as to make us wish we still had Miers.
Meantime, I hope that Harriet will get a nice book deal. She has earned it.
