Well, Bush wasted no time with giving John Bolton a recess appointment to represent the United States at the UN. So now we've got a hotheaded bully in a role that calls for a diplomat. [Read story.]
I doubt that most of the ambassadors from the other member nations will take Bolton very seriously. (They will likely just roll their eyes at his nonsense and work around him as best they can.)
Wouldn't it be ironic if Bolton were to one day lose his temper (as he is famous for doing), punch someone at the UN, and be charged before the International Criminal Court (ICC)?
